Software Tester

Role and Responsibilities:
Contribute, as part of a team, towards the organizational goal of providing high quality products by:
Developing automated test suites for our acceptance and regression tests
Executing build acceptance tests on our backend components
Executing system tests to benchmark the performance and stability of our products prior to each version release
Researching and identifying flaws in our products before they are released to the public
Working in collaboration with engineers located at the China Technology Center and US Headquarters
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or other Science majors. Excellent school record. Bachelor's degree in other majors with IT experience will also be considered
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to work well in a team as well as cross-team collaboration skills

Test, through all stages of the software lifecycle, MicroStrategy products that are used by both end users and IT administrators
Design, maintain, and execute test cases using knowledge of feature specifications
Work with software engineers located at the China Technology Center and US Headquarter to analyze test results and debug problems
Qualifications:
Education: Master or PhD degree in Engineering field, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Science. Excellent school record. Bachelor degree with exceptional academic background (GPA 3.5+ out of 4.0) and IT experience will also be considered
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to work well in a team as well as cross-team collaboration skills
Ability to pay close attention to details as well as to see bigger picture of tasks
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrable knowledge in one or more IT areas: Software testing, Databases system and SQL, programming language, System administration (Unix or Windows)
